On Wednesday, April 16th, Tanya Harris, author, loving mother, and volunteer for the Lemon Grove, Grossmont, Linda Vista, and La Mesa School Districts, hosted an unforgettable Book Signing Experience at the Joan B. Kroc Theatre from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Her new book, Journey of the Heart: Should I Stay, or Should I Go?, shares a message of faith, healing, and transformation with the community, exploring one of life’s most challenging questions: Should you stay in a relationship or move on?
Through personal anecdotes, scriptures, and a curated playlist of evocative songs, this book guides readers on a sensory journey of self-discovery and decision-making, exactly resembling the soul-stirring celebration she brought to her book signing. The book signing included performances from acclaimed artists like Debonaire and Darren Sherrill, the dynamic sounds of Eddie Baltrip & Fulfillment, DJ MiGz on the turntables, and a special performance from Harris’ son, Tye Harris.
When asked about the favorite part of her book, with certainty, she said, “When God gave me answers to the question, without a doubt, I knew it was only God.”
