Public Health Services has launched a new Live Well on Wheels (Live WoW) bus to deliver health services directly to communities. This 12-foot Winnebago expands the mobile fleet to four vehicles, offering vaccinations, disease testing, dental screenings, and public benefits outreach. It can also respond to public health emergencies and disasters.
Since 2021, Live WoW units have supported over 1,400 events with 117,000+ service interactions. The new unit focuses on communicable disease response and health education, continuing the County’s mission to meet people where they are. Community groups can request a bus online.
